Cascina Fogona is located in Altare, in the Savona province, in the hills of Liguria, about 20 minutes from the Savona coast and the crystal clear sea of Bergeggi and at the same time 45 minutes from Barolo nelle Laghe.
The original structure of the farmhouse is of medieval origins and the most accredited theory considers it to be an old farmhouse from the 1700s.
The renovation was completed with respect for the materials and for the historical architectural form, surrounding it with green spaces, nature and agricultural areas farmed with sustainable and organic methods.

Cascina Fogona was also designed for sports enthusiasts and for outdoor lovers in particular.It has a large bike room where you can safely store your bicycle and recharge electric bikes. At the property, you can also rent some equipment and receive information on what sports to practice in the surrounding area.
Wellness
For the well-being of guests and thanks to the collaboration with some wonderful professionals, it is possible to book massages and yoga classes in the residence. The wellness offer is constantly evolving; we invite you to ask for information directly at the property.
Accessibility
Cascina Fogona and some outdoor activities such as trekking, are accessible for people with mobility problems. Furthermore, one of the bedrooms and its private bathroom is barrier-free.

For us, breakfast is a special moment and takes place, weather permitting, in our large and sunny garden. The basis of our breakfast are some healthy products, both zero kilometer and the result of the farm’s agricultural activity. Thanks to the suggestions of a nutritionist, a special menu for athletes is possible. Ask for information.

Cascina Fogona has 4 rooms, two of which are quadruple and two doubles, all furnished with materials and colours dedicated to nature, travel and the international experiences of the hostess. Each room has its own identity and they all have only one goal: to give moments of relaxation and well-being, whatever the reason for your trip.
All bedrooms have private bathrooms, comfortable premium mattresses.
There is no TV by choice, in order to respect the privacy and peace of all guests of the hotel and to create a small world dedicated to detachment, harmony, sport and nature. Open the window, nature is the show we offer you.
